Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn?
Remember how she said that, we would meet
again, some sunny day.
(Music Score)
Vera, Vera, what has become of you? Does
anybody else in here feel the way I do?
Although this song is very short it is the absolute most depressing song that I have ever heard. I imagine that Vera Lynn was some young woman that was loved by a man, and on the day that they separated after a long summer, Vera Lynn promised to see him again. However, as time proceeded she either found another, or just simply forgot about him, which resulted in there never being another sunny day for them.

Will you be laughing when it's over?
The Misery by Sonata Arctica
A beautiful but seriously depressing song by the always-epic Sonata Arctica.
I wanted to post the link but it wouldn't let me...so just look on YouTube
I just mention it in another thread so I may as well post this to the depressing thread even though it's less a song and more just a recorded track. John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Unfinished Music #2: Life With The Lions has a track on it called Baby's Heartbeat. It's several minutes of their soon to be stillborn child's dying, palpitating heart. That is depressing and disturbing right there.
