I love Detroit--they've been my fave since Brendan Shanahan joined the year they one his first Stanley Cup in 1997. The year my eldest son was born. Shanahan is also my oldest's namesake. My Brendan was due on the day of the all-star game, but I was induced before, and after my son's birth, Shanahan went on a tear--even managing 2 hat tricks in the span of 3 or 4 games in February.

I'm a Leafs fan, too, as well as all Canadian teams, which play at a disadvantage due to the salary cap.

Haha, Paola- you DO read us because we're a FREAK show, not to mention, very nice people! And I feel you were justified in those thread closures. All they were was a bunch of attempts to harass Koto, and one role play that was petering out, not really moving towards a resolution (by any means) of the thread question/topic. Besides, we always have the "office" as I think of the Official Sym Thread. Thanks, Robo, and to all other participants for bringing their respective sym love to the table. Can we all feel the love? Oh, yeaaah.
