They've held top tier bruisers too and easily at that. Just look at John Stewart containing Martian Manhunter with the utmost ease in Cosmic Odyssey. Flash has failed to IMP his way out of constructs too. GL's job to the 'S' shield.

move speed yes...... GLs has gone beyond light speed in the past ..... that is not the problem........

but a close range battle a Gl wouldn�t see Superman.

So what do we take high ends or low end....... i mean it's random.....

One day they doing some good stuff.

Other day shiled are getting broken by supes, WM etc.......

No different than any other character. We use optimum showings for GLs like we do Superman, Flash and others.

There's John flying near lightspeed and blitzing villains before they can even react. Now if John couldn't react at the speed he was flying, he would have shot off into space once he hit Escape Velocity. Not only that but he was able to keep himself close to the ground and he didn't turn those villains into smears on the ground once he hit him. No way he could do that feat without high level reaction times.

good point about how up and down GL's are. like when hal got punched by batman and mind controled by desporo. Where the crap was auto shileds then. well anyway if we are talking about a normal GL then supes wins most of them suck like the ones killed by doomsday. if we are talking about ion then it's 9/10 for ion the only time supes wins is by pis and having a fanboy writer. against Hal it's 5/5 supes isn't going to be bloodlusted and just attacking again and again he will relent and when he does it's all over, or Hal could do what sea king was talking about.

that�s some pre crisis stuff man

didn't follow logic

in recent comic didn't superman showed that only flash can keep up.

i have the scan am sure u have seen it.

Flying lightspeed i have seen Gl's do... but react at those speed...hmmmm

GL #189 (I think, might be wrong) is a Post Crisis comic.

For what it's worth, theres still no logic in comics.
