If what you say about the trilogy is true, then 13 books. He is contracted for 10 books with Richard Rahl.

I prefered the attitude to dictatorship in WFR [SPOILER - highlight to read]: scratching Darken Rahl sick from the 'Devotion'

Viggo Montensenn wasn't it?

The whole series is not really dramatisable though.

Kahlan had brown hair. If Kiera Nightly is the lead in POTC, she is too emaciated.

It's Viggo Mortensen(miss-spelled on my last post.)
And you're right, she has brown hair. I don't have a suggestion of an actress to play her.

My favorite book is Faith of the Fallin!!!! I hated Pillers Of Creation, Richard and Kalan were hardly in the book!!!! And I liked Wizards First Rule.

By Naked Empire the author had completely lost his touch sad even Temple of the Winds was a bit repetitive, but after that the series didn't seem to have anything more to say.

Alot of the books were repetitive....in the sense that he always talks about the other books, but I was pissed at the end of Chainfire (read it in 3 days).....just b/c of how the predicaments were............... so I am ready for the FINAL book, book 10 so I can see how things fall into place.

I do agree, parts of the book are a bit drabby, but I do enjoy the storyline in general. big grin

Not to mention the originality of the different characters, Shota, The Mord-Sith, Confessors....Seeker...etc.......... (unless these types of char's are in other books???)

In Naked Empire though the protagonist started his ridiculous sermonising And Kahlan and Cara were reduced to colourless heads nodding at it.

I too was dissapointed when I read chainfire. I mean the next wizard's rule was terrible. When Terry Goodkind starts quoting mathmaticians then you know he ran out of what I thought were genius ideas and theories. (Rule of the Excluded Middle was paraphrased but a poor rendition)
