Rand Al'Thor is a joke. He has all this power but is too scared to use it. I read all the novels until about 7 or 8, then stopped. He is so petrified of women he can never use his power completely. I think Prof X would take him. Prof X has awesome powers, he is experienced, he fights for a cause bigger than himself, and he is not scared of losing his mind.
Rand doesn't use his full power for two reasons, He could break the world and its slowly driving him insane. How is he afraid of women? He's seeing three women at the same time. He feels protective of women thats all.
Eh, X would probably murder him. Rand has some serious mental instability issues- His powers have been hijacked by the "other" conciousness within him at least once. Psi resistant he is NOT.
Professor X excels at this- A professor X who was tired of screwing around took over magneto's body and powers and threw him into orbit. Rand would be torn apart by his own powers in minutes. Or X could just flat out mindwipe him and leave him comatose.
unless Rand is able to operate on pure berzerker instinct (i.e. wolverine) without thinking, He's screwed, and I don't recall his powers working quite this way.
