Surfer was a tad bit out of character, but respect was shown to both characters. The humor was awsome too, although the mood gets quite serious at the end.
Wish they could have made it more than one issue...
What this God-Like abilities that Cable possess are supposed to be?I ask cause in Italy is comic book isn't sell so i need info.
Does he possess powers like Exodus i mean:
Telekinetic Strenght, that Exodus use to lift objects and enhance his strenght, as we can see in the fight with Holocaust, where Exodus hits him hard with his own fists
Read The Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix #4. According to Mother Askani a.k.a Rachel Summers, Nathan Summers ( Cable ) has the POWER to extinguish stars and alter universes.

How literal can you get? She told him face to face that he possesed greater powers than any mutant telepath ever known. And Cable mind you is from the 616 future where documented history of the " First ones " ie; Cyclops & PHOENIX are well known.

Just because hes not seen to travel outside of earth doesn't mean he can't consume a star. i mean yea it would be unusual for a character whos almost always on earth to be traveling around in SPACE and then CONSUME stars...but it doesn't make it impossible.
I admitt i have bad luck. i mean its my own super power..[seriously, if u knew me in real life..]. but why did it have to be my car and why now. oh yeah cuz my bad luck powers are God-like now that i lost my good-luck virus.
Sometimes I wish I could take all of the comics I have and cram them into the heads of others so they understood my perspective of the character. Many see Cable as a rigid and overly developed character but that's just not entirely the case. He's got a lot more depth than people give him credit for and has been horribly written so many times that it leaves a distaste in many peoples mouths. Give the man a chance -- at least he's not like Gambit who's a walking STD.

ok Im convinced that since Cable was the most powerful telpath yet he could consume stars...cuz telepathy and star consuming go hand in hand. Sorry for my sarcasm. The Phoenix Force is like the personification of the soul of every star in the universe...I just can't compare it to a mortal guy walking around Earth who still has to deal with confrontations from people obviously thousands of times weaker than himself. Cable is a great character, one of the top three most creative x-men in my opinion...I like him, but Im gogint ot stay objective about where he belongs on the food chain...but I do want to give him a lot of credit.
I still haven't read issue Cable & Deadpool #10 yet but I hear tell that their battle wasn't exactly a great one. And while Surfer concentrated all his efforts on Nathan he was still distracted by countless other factors which didn't allow him to focus on the battle at hand unlike Radd. Any truth in that?

Uhh....i guess we should start discussing tha comic even though some may not have it.....i'll warn before though.
*********SPOILERS**********
Yea he broke surfers board, which is pretty crazy if you ask me. its supposed to be as strong as surf himself...but anyway yea he broke his board and surf plunged off out of control. he of course came back and spoke for tha furst time "I see your passion". then sends some cosmic ray out of his eyes directed at Cable's bionic arm and cable lays close to death. after doing that surfer finishes "passion begets hunger. hunger consumes worlds". however surf does depart saying "you'll live without your powers". and sadly....later on...cable tells deadpool to use a mechanism that removes portions of his brain that controls his powers. Providence, falls since theres no telekinetics holding it up and it ends with deadpool asking cable to speak which he does not.
I just now read the issue and was kind of dissapointed in "the fight"...
Although i think that if Cable did not have to keep rebuilding every location they fought at, he would have been able to fight a lot better against SS.
