ok well lets get off the whole muscle issue, lol its done with.
I would be really happy if they just setup Venom in this movie. It could be a small sub plot explored indirectly with the main plot. Its a typical device used in movies.
Would be cool to leave SM3 with an ending much like SP2 was only with Venom.
ooo man it would be awesome if they did it just like the first Venom apperance in the comics. Spidey is crawling up a wall past a mirror when an unknown hand reaches out and punches him. No one knows who it is, and no one knows why he was able to punch spidey with out his spider-sense going off.
lol I hate that movies are so 2d and we would never get anything cool like that.
They really should let a true fan of the series write the movie.
They won't setup Venom cause they won't do another movie with this cast and crew, probably. If they do set him up, it'll be a sure sign that they'll continue smoothly and maybe even keep Raimi, which is good.
Okay, I'm just going to throw this out there right now. Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and whoever plays Harry signed contracts for a SEVEN MOVIE SERIES. It's not a trilogy, and wasn't intended to be. I have no freaking idea where everybody gets off thinking that it would be that way, but whatever.
Seriously. Besides, it's obvious trilogies are the big thing now. Ever since the re-release of Star Wars in 97, everyone wants to make a trilogy.
Seven movies would be nice though. And the Venom subplot would add a touch of class to number three. But will they go the way of the black suit for Spidey in the movie, or just use a method close to what they used in Ultimate Spider-Man?
Id love to see Dr. Conners as the Lizard at some point. He was always one of my favorite characters just because of the dynamic of how Peter and Dr. Conners intereacted at first.
oh and what kind of crack is that guy smoking about 7 movies? No serious actor would sign something like that. Doing that many movies can easily lead to typecasting. Every actors worste nightmare.
Okay, lets think about this here. First, this is Spider-Man we're talking about here. If there's a superhero out there with the continuity to make seven movies, it's Spider-Man. The first movie was huge, and the people I mentioned were contracted right after the results of the first came in. To be honest, I don't think Raimi will be around after the third because he's not the type of director needed to do some of the darker stories, and he hates the symbiotes. Second, just because people are fascinated with trilogies doesn't mean that every movie that has a sequel is going to have three. Honestly, that's a f*cking ridiculous theory. It's not even logical! I don't care if someone has a bias toward a certain villain or whatever, but they're gonna get all the major ones in there AND SANDMAN IS BY NO MEANS A MAJOR VILLAIN! Seriously, stop with the whole trilogy idea when you have no ****ing proof.
1. Just because Spider-Man has the potential for 7 films does not mean they will make seven films.
2. Trilogies are extremely logical, that's why they are done. Stories have "the beginning, the middle, the end". That's where this all started.
3. They could want to make 100 Spider-Man films...but no matter what, they are going to progress one film at a time, and if one of them bombs miserably, they won't finish it out.
4. Actors would not sign a contract that puts them in for 6 extra films when they don't know how successful it would be. You say "let's think about this for a minute", well read something about the politics of film. Contrary to the fan belief, not everything in the film business is just about "we have a story, we'll tell it".
They may very well make 7 Spider-Man films...but I assure you that you won't see the same cast and crew for all of them.
