I'm going to go to my friends house (He has a large HDTV 1080i) and see how great it looks on HD, can't wait. BTW, does the PC version show reflections of trees also? I noticed the 360 (on Low definition not high so im not sure about the HD) doesnt show them, only reflections of the buildings and landscapes. maybe people, i havent looked quiet yet.
I got 1200 or so, and then went to see if i could buy a house, turns out i can get a shack for 4000 ...But hell its somewhere to start. I got that much money by stealing some nice weapons then selling them to some theives MUWAHAHA. I just wish the red hands would vanish from the armor and weapons i want to keep.
What level is everyone now? I'm only lvl 4, I don't sleep much.
Hey everyone, if you think of going to the arena, I'm going to warn you about something. I only went through the first two battles, and all you get is 50 gold for the win. the first battle was ok, the 2nd one was a pain in the ass for me. I am not even risking the 3rd till i get better armor, weapons, and health. I wasted about 500 gold buying potions for the second battle, and i ended up using them all, it pissed me off. Just a warning for your money guys.

You have your 7 main skills, each time one of those raises up a level, that counts as 1 point towards your character level. You have to raise 10 points to level your character up. Then you have to rest and it'll level up.
Some of the NPCs piss me off......I found some woman who said something and it gave me a journal entry, but the game crashed, so when I went back to her, she just had normal boring things to say. I dont know how to get that journal thing back now...
I havent checked the water reflections either.. trying to induct a new character into the brotherhood.. and the game is picky as hell about who your first kill has to be -_-
well.. I'll get on a really good streak of picking.. then all the sudden I'll hit a lock that'll crack 20 picks in a row.. ugh.. worst feeling evar..
I've also been trying to figure out how to activate HDR... read an article where bethesda supposedly said you cant have FSAA with HDR... so I turned FSAA off and HDR option was still greyed out
Don't worry about the 3rd guy. I fought him with my mage, he's a weakling. Its an argonian who uses arrows. On another note, I just got my mages staff.
Satsujin, around where did you run into the vampires?
I'm not a mage, I'm a theif. so I just use swords and bows. my sword does 4 attack and my bow + arrows does 4 also. my armor all together of what im wearing is about 20 defense. the second guy sucked my health down because they run freaking fast.
hmm.. I dunno if its a good idea to battle in the arena as theif or assassin.. as most of their power comes from sneak attacks.. unless you got invisibility potions or something to help with the stabbinz
I also recommend poisoning your arrows and weapons.. very helpful
Yep, I cant even crack Easy locks manually, its bloody difficult using a mouse. I use auto resolve for them though and crack them in about 3 lockpicks. I think my Security skill is about 17 or so though, not the best...
How do you poison them? Do you have to find someone to poison them for you, or do you do it yourself? Where do you get poison from? Does the weapon stay poisoned forever after that? Gah...questions..

k.. well the way I did it was through alchemy... snag a mortar and pestle (a noob one).. you grind up ingredients that share a same attribute... so you grind up some that have a poison property to them (just for example.. flower A has : poison as first attribute.. and drain fatigue as 2nd.. and Flower B has : poison as first attribute and ?? as second.. if you grind the two up you should makea poison potion)... the way it works is that if you have a bow (or a sword) , you go to the poison potion.. (the one I had was called potion of illness lol).. I clicked the potion, it then asked "select the weapon to be poisoned".. choose the weapon.. with a bow, the first shot, and only that shot is poisoned.. regardless if you hit or miss.. if you miss thats a poisoned shot gone to waste... with sword.. if you swing at the air it shouldnt remove the poison.. so sword is more of a guarantee I guess?.. I think the poison also gets applied regardless if they block it or not
poison can be applied during combat.. so the more the merrier? lol
edit : heres a complete alchemy formula list... I believe you have to combine stuff that has "damage health" on it to get the poison potions.. http://oblivion.melian.cc/?cmd=cmdO...nIngredientList happy poisoning
you'd have to do enchanting at an enchant station to do that I think... along with gems that contain souls to give the item a # of charges.. those gems also recharge the item
man i went to my friends house for his birthday party, and his gay ass xbox360 scratched my disk like hell, so i had to go a whole day without playing it and i went crazy! I finally just got back from gamestop and they gave me a new 1 right away *wipes sweat off head* now to continue playing!
lol... well thankfully you recieved a new one without hassle... one time my halo disc had a defect in the foil, which prevented the 2nd level from loading.. and the guy was trying to act like I was pulling a fast one... I'm like "dude I didnt spend 50 dollars on this game to 'pull a fast one'..."
I just told the guy "Hey the xbox360 is not reading my disk.." so he looks at it and he sees the big ass scratch on it and says "Ok, lemme get a new one." then he gave it and that's it. he didn't even ask for a receipt!
Nope, No problem. Plus I'm a theif, my picklocking is like level 45 or something. I can push 2 locks up and they'll be stuck, then the others i'll have to get up without making the others fall. So yeah I'm lucky.
