Because Hermoine's a beaver-toothed geek who nags more times than the electron spins around the atom.
Can you imagine Hermoine with Harry during sexual intercourse?
Hermoine: "Honestly, Harry what are doing? You need to direct your manhood at a 37 degree angle NOT a 60 degree angle. Did you read the Wizard's Guide to Sex? For goodness' sake this could be on the NEWTS!
Solo, that type of lanuage isn't necessary or appreciated. Some people find it offensive, so if you could please lay off the inappropiate lanuage, that would be great! Thanks!

If anyone was gay in the HP series I doubt it would have any effect on the series storyline. It would just be as superfluous as Seamus's ADD. It won't change anything.
And we can have dragons, giants, wraiths, etc. but gays are so out there that it would be wrong?
if jk rowling doesnt put anything like religion and stuff like that in the books, maybe she thinks the same way about characters being gay...it not needed reference...kind of thing
Gender: Male Location: Past the Point of No Return
Nothing wrong with gay people. How could she put religion in it since like, most religion is against the book. And though unneeded info, it would just prove she isn't really anti gay and probably make a lot of people more happy... and give more reason for religions to ban the books.

You really are ignorant aren't you? There is nothing 'wrong' about homosexuality in general. The reason nobody in the HP series is gay is because, at first, the series was aimed at children; and sexuality is something that should be descovered in later life.
Gender: Male Location: England; at least it's not the U.S.
You do seem to like picking a fight don't you? Well I'm not going to waste my time wiping the floor with you, I'll just say that I meant wrong from a literary standpoint - it would be forced into the novels and wouldn't fit naturally with the flow. Do grow up and stop looking for an argument.
I wasn't trying to start a fight for the sake of it. Your original post was worded vaguely, and sounded homophobic. You should have clarified that you were speaking from a literary standpoint, since this thread pertains to a delicate topic.
