goku can't even drive a car.In the cartoon he got his foot glued to a ship and was afraid of dying cause they were heading for the sun!!!

first of all telepaths read thoughts.
xavier would know they were lowering their levels
and emme frost alone can read the minds of characters without brains!
xorn has a black hole in place of his brain but emma frost was still able too

Of course they do. Power level is just another word that can be used for words such as life energy, chi, etc.
