That it would. Although I think Hellboy could take it, he has the whole super natural thing going on, and he is used to fighting tough enemies (although I am sure the Thing is to)

Maybe, although Hellboy seems to be prepared to use a lot more in terms of weapons... the Thing would have to get close before he could kick him.
