I haven't either, to be honest.

The thing is, you've ONLY just started to acknowledge that it's only your perception of emo fans. It's not all of them. Infact, I'm gonna go so far as to predict that the number of emo fans who cut aren't nearly as much as people predict.

Number two, people who cut don't usually cut because of the music they listen to. They cut because they've (psychologically) got alot of bad mental issues and drive themselves into intense physical sensation to get rid of it.

All of the ones I know Do it for Attention or because its "cool"..and Have even Adimited to it.

The Sad truth is that Some (emo) kids do veiw it as a Fashion Statement...

whats the difference between faking depression and cutting yourself as a fashion statement and cutting slayer into your arm as a fashion statement?

perhaps they need some experience of what happens to a decaying body and when to see how fashionable suicice can be

Why does the Slayer fan fake cutting? Emo kids do it for real. If anything they're more hardcore.

It may be today...But it was an album cover, and when the album was released there was No such thing as Emo...Or if there was it wasnt as mainstream.
