I think GL wouldn't want those as EP. II Select pics feeling it would reveal to much about the film and cause many websites to run rampant with the pics and alter them as original works from Ep. II.

Some ideas
Here are some of the things I'd like to see as Episode 2 pics on the official site.
Samuel L Jackson with his lightsabre (as Mace Windu of course)
Anakin and Amidala in a love scene
A new vehicle that we haven't seen yet.
Boba Fett without his helmet.
A new Sith Apprentice with two lightsabres in his hands.
The horizon of a new planet that we haven't seen yet.
A picture from one of the lightsabre duels
