Of course I'm talking about Pro-Snipers who will snipe you from the other side of the map and will no-scope you in the head eventhough you had them literally one shot away from dying.
And out of curiosity...what's the point of adding one shotting them when laser can only 1shot?
I was actually talking about a chain of events.. not which ones greater
just keep one plasma based weapon (plasma pistol / assault rifle)
(cuz the only thing challenging are the brutes)...
then you get an actual rifle class weapon (beam rifle / battle rifle / cov. carbine)..
in this way.. you break the brutes armor off..(plasma round) take them down with headshots (rifle class)...and, when the need arise, go to town on the snipers (naturally rifle class)
with all the ammo falling all over the ground at this point, it shouldnt be too bad to stay equipped, either
this is how I helped friends get the 15k / 30k points... just ran around cracking brute armor while he bagged some headshots..
and yus.. I did dis on legendary... its really the only fun difficulty anymore

Strangely enough, it is. I kinda noticed that mysself.
I thought you were talking about the Marines on legendary. It's impossible to beat them on Legendary. You can maybe one or two but you can't kill more then three without dying.
Just hit them with your gun, throw down a bubble shield, or let them do it, most of the game I have been hitting them with my gun, done great for me, then again the AI in Halo 3 is bad.
Nope I shoot then I get close and wham, dead, pathetic AI though, oh I can see you far away behind that crater, even if you have not shot at me, yeah your guns don't hurt me blah, blah, blah, poor game Halo 3, not one good thing about it, awkward checkpoints too.

You're thinking of the Covenent. The marines are your allies. You can shoot them in the head with a sniper rifle and they won't die. A Marine can also be melee attacked 6+ times before dying.
And your whole plan is flawed, as it resides on you "shooting". You won't be able to shoot, you'll be dead too fast. Only ay you can kill them is with the battle rifle, and you have to be behind cover.
Not really boy, just go up to covenant hit them, I don't care about anything else, I can't get into the game, played it on legendary it was ok, but I prefer Heroic, something more enjoyable about that, as for anything else within the game, I don't care, guilty spark is a fail of a final boss; if you complete the last mission on Legendary you still get the full ending, without having to play until the end.
So don't you start trying to belittle me, it won't work, got it.
I just whack them, saves ammo that never really works.
You need to lighten up Blax my friend, stop taking things so seriously, I mean your tone is rather arrogant, I don't care much for it, I have the game there for I am entitled to my opinion, if it be positive or negative.
So far as I can understand, calling someone "boy" then implying a false ad hominem doesn't exactly help your self-image. I can't say I blame Blaxican for getting a little annoyed.
And your opinion has basis in fact. It's like saying that you believe in something that is clearly not going to happen.
Spoke to you in a tone, I see.....over the internet. Hard to decipher someone's state of mind. So far looking back I don't see any hint of sarcasm or even. He's not even being that condescending, yet you're accusing him of being such, then act like a hypocrite and do it yourself.
Talk about being sensitive.
I'll jump in if I want, it's a discussion board is it not?
What you can or can't do in Halo is governed by a certain set of rules, or boundaries. What you're talking about here is damage taken and damage recieved, and that's a game mechanic, not something based on skill or talent. It's irrelevant what you can do in the game, more like what everyone can do or not do.
