they have a very original sound, the singer has got an above average voice, they're good (acoustic) guitarists, their lyrics arent bad, and they're certainly much better than any of those other pop rock groups.

I agree. Green Day will always be awesome. The only thing they did that as bad was make the album "Warning," but when you think about it, that's what they wanted to play, so it really isn't a bad thing. Anyway, they have a new single out, and it's a cover of The Clash's "I Fought the Law." It's really quite good, and they are in the studio making a new album right now.
