I play the french horn,trumpet,and melaphone (for you that dont know its a marching french horn )i alsoe sing.In our school band last year we had 83 kids for just 6th grade (i started school late)and now this year with both 7th and 8th grade bands put together we have 33 kids
Hi... Myself im playing guitar. ive been playing for a moth and itīs going good im making good progress. So since im new and if someone has any tips on how i can practice in a "efficient way" that would be cool.
Now to the point i really like my guitar and im gonna post a pic of it, and if you got an instrument and wanna show it for us post it here!!! or simply write bout it
Its a epiphone (les paul) special 2: and i got a fender frontman 25R amp(i think its called) for it. the guitar,amp and black cable are the new "stuff". the pedal is from the 80īs and the blue cable i got from my dad(probably from the 80`s aswell).

im not sure i understand what you mean about the hole "telling a story thing"
just because i to 99% listen to metal i dont banish instruments like violin and such. Violin and such instruments (even if they come in form of keyboard sounds)combined with some modern style and perhaps a elecric guitar can sound very good.
Blind guardian has many acoustic songs with classical instruments backing them up. And it is some of best music i`ve heard.
I play an electric acoustic. Porfessional lessons don't hurt, of course. But after that, nothing makes for better practice than merely spending time with your instrument playing with it.
You will make astounding progress and won't even know it if you promise to spend 10-15 minutes a day w/ it.
I played quint toms in my high school marching band, and I play the drum set. My influences are Vinny Paul (Pantera), Igor Cavalera (Sepultura), and Raymond Herrera (Fear Factory).
