Ummm I haven't seen the other bonds in like forever 
But I like the whole interactions with him between M and Q before, and just the sexual innuendos and such that goes on today 
Clearly they were along long ago, but I think it has something to do with Brosnan's acting too

I think it has more to do with how the actors portrayed it...
like... Sean was more oneliners ("I think he got the point", "Shocking; possitively shocking") vs Moore with the 'humor' he handles... and Dalton being very serious. (not mentioning lazenby since he was only in one)
and then you have Pierce, who does Bond in a serious way but is really good at delivering the punchlines; think that it's cause of that combo that he's so popular... not mentioning his looks of course
