Review: Sexy Beast
I saw this for the first time last night and it was a big dissapointment. It was just typical British gangster film.
All the characters looked like every other gangster from every other gangster film. It had some good scenes but a lot of it was edited so fast you I couldn't work out what was going on.

Well, doesn't suprise me I guess..it doesn't look very intriguing..I guess Kingsly just got the Oscar Nod because he can bark "NO NO NO' really well.

He was really good and had some good lines but the rest of it was a non-event.
I saw critics say it was "original" and "offers a new twist to the gangster genre". It doesn't.
Oh, it was "yes, yes, yes, yes" that he barks. But you were close.

sexy beast is phenomenal!
As an american who loves hollywood ganster films, anyone that thinks this movie is a disappointment should just stick to watching american idol or something. This is the best thing since pulp fiction and snatch! I am going to start paying close attention to british ganster films now. Had a hard time understanding the accent but afterwatching it 4 times, I wouldn't want it any other way. Ben kinsley's one performance made every robert dinero "tough guy character" look like a cub scout. Truly terrifying performance!!! excellent movie!

I liked the part with the big rock that came tumbling tumbling tumbling tumbling down the hill and, whoops, into the pool! That part was money. The whole scuba robbery was cool too, and when they've finally had it with loud mean Ben, and the kid and the guy's wife with the shotgun!!! This movie wasn't bad.

What about the part on the plane? and how don logan talked his way out of security by making the flight attendants look like perverts. I also like the part with the devil rabbit. it was very odd yet demonic. Sure wish they would make a sequel but it would be tough without don logan.
