supergirl is a young female version of superman. the only difference for the sake of this thread is that she has little less experience than superman and does not fully understand how to use her powers to the absolute full extent. so same powers, but somewhat childish, (even though she's 19). she could beat pretty much anyone super man can but probably wouldnt be able to handle his outstanding feats. you get the idea? sometimes im bad at explaining things. . .

i chose her because you are required to have a girl on the team and choosing supergirl instead of superman changed my team as little as possible. plus i think she's more interesting. she didnt go through all those changes superman did that confuse me. she'll make for more interesting arguements but she still kicks ass
