i've never seen dots..
i think i've seen some weird titles... but it was in the status field confused

As far as I know, every style. They were removed the end of November 2003.

This were how they were appointed and they looked like this:

Understudy - Registered under a week or less than a 100 posts.
Forum Groupie - 3 dots or less
Forum Junkie - 5 dots or less
Forum Fanatic - 6 dots
Forum Master - 7 dots
Forum Lord - 8 dots
[Custom Appointed] - 9 dots

The higher your postcount, the more dots you got which resulted in members boosting their postcount by posting unnecessary replies.

I have mixed emotions on the "dot" thing. While they can be kinda cool, I think that they are also elitist in a way. Just my 2 cents. smile

so are the bigger avy's for member that have been here for longer than 1 year, or mods having their names in bold on the "Who's Online?"

Elitist? Not entirely since they depended on your postcount. The 85x85 avatars however are imo. The difference/gap between new members and somewhat senior members is only getting bigger.
