One more thing, ANY substance that causes you mind to function in a way it isnt supposed to has the potentioal to cause violence. I mean, even people on E can get angry if pushed hard enough.

That's correct But no doubt Milla will have reason to disagree considering she learns all about it, being a student. We should just ignore our first hand experiences in favour of something she read in a book.

Smoking is manky. I hate it. I hate the smell, I hate the way people throw their butts on the ground as though they aren't litter, I hate people asking if I have a light, I hate breathing others' harmful smoke, I hate peering through a haze in a pub.
Ban cigarettes and fine the fools who smoke them.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Americans add throwing, pads, alter the length of the game etc, i.e. change it completely yet still call it football.
Then they call the original soccer, and expect the rest of the world to adopt this bastard name. Pish.
From hence forth American football shall be known as "soccer." by me.

Ok... so the argument was that cocaine doesn't make you violent... I said it can, of course it can, and she said "Nay... I be the learned student!! I know best... yada yada." So, which is it? IMO, it probably effects each individual as differently as any other substance. Be it alcohol, weed, Pro Plus

If you walk into an establishment where people are already smoking and choose to stay, you have no right to complain. You're putting yourself there.
If there are 10 people in a room and one is a smoker that decides to light up, they should show courtesy and leave. It's quite a liberty that everyone there has to deal with your habit.

Indeed. You are correct.
Anyone that gets violent of Pro Plus and Weed needs help. I think those are impossibilities or near uncertainties. Cocaine though, is obviously possible.
Some people, as you said, are affected differently. Some people can have 8 pints and remain coherant, some people have 3 and are long gone silver. It depends on the persons metabolism and lots of other stuff with alcohol. That's the worst drug to get violent on. I've seen the most passive people turn into idiots on alcohol.
If there are as I said, 10 people in a room, 9 non smokers and 1 smoker.
It's unfair if the smoker lights up and the other 9 have to deal with the smell and the smoke. The smoker should show respect and leave. Common courtesy.
If you walk into a place where smokers are already, you are accepting that they are doing it and there for have no direct right to complain. Don't like it? Don't go in. Same applies to the first instance. Don't like that you can't smoke? Don't go in.

I live at home right now, in an environment where nobody else smokes, or has ever smoked. Therefore I always go outside for a cigarette and I stub them out when finished and put them in the bin. Common courtesy, as AC said.
Also, AC, I didn't say that people get violent from smoking weed or taking Pro Plus, I was using them as examples of substances that effect people differently... not necessarily giving them violent tendencies, just different tendencies to other people.

Yeah I know, was just saying.
"well but there is no evidence that weed harms bystanders"
Well there are no recorded fatalities from smoking weed as far as I know, are there?
Gender: Female Location: every which way but loose
Yeah... passive smoking. I guess it depends if you're smoking it with tobacco Although, I doubt we're about to see huge amounts of people standing in crowded areas chuffing on spliffs, weed is, after all, still illegal Therefore I don't think passive smoking from weed is a problem just yet. If you're in an environment where people are smoking weed, it's a safe bet that you're smoking it too, of your own accord.

I don't think there are any fatalities, but I think mainly because anyone who died from lung cancer and was also a weed smoker is generally said to have died from the after effects of tobacco, not weed. Make sense?

Not really, you can smoke weed without smoking tobacco. But yes you are probabyly right the amount of weed smokers is not that high, and they stick to each other.
