notheray spiredinay assietay
pig latin for the uninitiated.
A simple man found an extraordinary truth,
He was an angel, not a youth,
Wings of satin, lifting him high,
He dicovered his gift and why,
Why he had to endure so much pain,
T'was to help other again and again.
Ashamed at first for being unique,
He soon began the wounded to seek,
No way to heal, just to defend,
His will shall not give way or bend,
The angel-man stands tall and firm,
His enemies only see eyes that burn,
Covering with his very wings the hurt,
He awaits attack, strong, stalwart,
When the fight is over, he takes away,
The person he came to save that day,
Alone he can only do so much, you see,
'Twould help if he had a helper or three,
But onward and foward he'll always go,
Against this world, against the cruel flow.

Another day of writing is just about done,
I have had my laughs and had my fun,
Gonna kill some demons with my Bro,
I'll be back by mitternacht though,
To check the Forum, and to say the least,
I love this place we call KMC!

I walked a thousand miles alone, no love for life in me,
I saw so many people I know, I thought they my enemy be,
No care for others in pain or dying, I lived my life selfishly,
I never really realized the truth, that one had once died for me.
A poor man born a long time ago, into a soulless world of hate,
A young man who loved all he saw, a boy who'd appreciate,
All of life, the rich, and downtrodden, with him equals they'd rate,
And his pure soul, his offering this cruel world's hunger would sate.
I found the truth, rather it found me, Just as the blade began its run,
And now I love and live for him, for you; as all who live under the Son.
Sir William

A poem for D'Winter.
Walking alone in this misty dream of mine
I saw light ahead beckoning me ever onward.
Struggling with fatigue and wanting rest
I stumbled into your home and world.
Opening the ivy-coated door slowly,
I entered from the chilled night air.
The first thing I saw when I removed my helm
Was you in your gown, sitting there.
A fire stoked hot to drive out the cold,
A pot with delicious stew readied,
I started to fall to my knees in relief,
But you reached out and I steadied.
I bowed low, and said "Hello."
"Fare thee well on the evening?"
You just smiled so sweetly and bid me come in,
"Tis just you I am receiving."
You told me you awaited my coming,
Knowing I would not be long,
And soon you had me in your palm,
Singing your seducing siren's song.
As I rest my weary body by the flame,
You lay beside and comfort me,
The wine helps me sleep without evil dreams,
And I cannot help but hope to wake up with thee.
Then here in the real I open my eyes,
I see the dawn is growing,
I shed a tear for we never said goodbye,
But tonight I'll return knowing...
You are awaiting for me by the fire,
At the midnight and in the wood,
I'll bring you a kiss that will not fade,
As any knight to his lady in dreams should.
My rest shall be completed and I will go on,
The cycle continues endlessly.
But one day I know the dream shall be real,
And the Kiss? Hold onto it for me.

Albeit far from me to sink to lower levels of this human condition,
I find that in my life are only contradictions,
Where once I thought that black and white were true and clean,
Now I find only fields of matte grey are to be seen.
Up and down so simple to describe now become twisted together,
Dust becomes as lead, and a pint of mercury as a feather.
The truth I clung to for my life became a lie instead,
The living of this life I discovered was not alive, just dead.
My ins became my outs as my world flipped upside-down,
My joy became my sadness, my laughter became my frown,
How do I get back to the place I thought was reality?

Take a Ride
Bring your trembling form close, closer still.
Concentrate on my heartbeat to drive away the chill.
Are you ready to face this world my way now?
Hold onto me tight; you falling I can't allow.
Here we go! You feel the freedom of weightlessness?
If you get scared, just think of this:
I love you and shall never let go of you, here or down there.
Enjoy this freedom as we wheel about in the nighttime air,
Frost forming on wingtips wide, but warmth from you drives it away.
Smiling as we go into a dive, I could do this all night and all day.
With you I can fly and only with you do I know no fear at all.
I know you are close and all I need do is call.
We soar over the sleeping cities, the quiet waters of the lakes and streams.
You see as I do now this world, the world of our dreams.
No longer bound by your fear or gravity's power,
We can fly together, forever, until the waking hour.
The disenchanting world will beckon soon for us to be waking
But please remember this my love; tonight's dreams are ours...
For the taking.

some people are for flaming others or calling them sychophants when they do not blast other's poems...I just have one thing to say. If and only IF I see something that I can CONSTRUCTIVELY criticize will I give a critical remark. and then, doing so with TACT. I will also accept Constructive criticism with ease if done so tactfully. If done as a jab at the person, or insultingly, I will ignore it. I appreciate all of KMC, and I am glad when someone brings a suggestion to this thread or any other. Rudeness, however, is just unacceptable unless we are all joking.
Sorry folks! hahahahhaa! RANT=OFF...
And now for more poetry...
