I'm not saying don't have enemies in it,have loads-just have their romance.Though if they show them having one hell of an attraction to each other in x-3,they don't need a spin-off.

The reason I want to see a seperate movie: Fox is not likely to have Gambit in the x movies, their reasons are: Gambit's personality is too similar to Wolverine's, he is too physically similar to Cyclops (they must think viewers are pretty stupid not to tell these guys apart!) My reason's: Rogue has Bobby, Rogue is too young for an adult Gambit, there is not a lot of time to develope this character especially with Pheonix coming into the picture. I would hope they would make my much wanted movie (G&R) with an adult Rogue, which also would mean a different actress!!! Rogue can have all her powers and have confidence, sassiness, strength, instead of being scared, puny and sickly, sorry I really don't like the actress for Rogue! There can be time for them, Bobby can be gone and it allows for many interesting opportunities. I do want to see the whole abandoned Gambit in the acrctic bit without the stupid green ghost and how he comes to forgive himself and be forgiven by the others. Pr1983, you don't like a little romance? for shame, this is the only romantic story I'm dying to see.

How is Fox goint to do a spin off of Wolverine anyway??? They already went to the lab, destroyed it and the scientist guy, blew the whole Yuriko/Lady Deathstrike character out of the sene, not to mention, nothing like the real story, so what are they planning on doing with Wolverine??? I love Magneto too but they are making him out to be mean to Charles and the X Men, he made that cruel comment to Rogue about her hair on top of trying to kill her, he just isn't the Magneto we love for the simple fact he is not a good bad guy. They need to just start over on these other popular characters and then they can do it right. Everyone is dying to see Gambit, they can get Beast in there too, there's no good reason to do a spin off of the other two, if they are all high on the idea of creating spin offs then they need to start fresh, very fresh!

ok...
there us nothing wrong with romance in the movie, so long as it isn't the main plot...
to people who havent read xmen gambit and cyclops are similar, the red eyes, the physical build, even the haircuts are similar in some comics...
a wolverine spin off will deal with his past, there's easily enough to fill a two hour movie and keep it interesting... i won't watch it (cos i cant stand him), but to me he's the only one bar the professor who can make a movie that will make money...

I hope they do a better job telling Wolverine's story. I don't think there would be an issue with Cyclops and Gambit, who can tell Scot has red eyes? There is also a rumor that they are brothers, I can't remember where I read it or if it's true but it's interesting.
