That would be good enough for me! If they do put Gambit in X3 and he and Rogue suck then they could still make an animated movie spin off of the 90's cartoon! that would rock too.
Yes, I want to see this with real actors and actresses, but an animated movie would be a good second. I found this most incredible series of stories on a web site written about Gambit and of course Rogue, I am completely blown away by them, they are genius and creative and just goes to show how an entire movie can be written well, these stories are long and in depth, I have a ton more to read before I can finish them, they were written by Lori McDonald, you really must check them out!
They wouldn't have to just talk about those events. How about doing a caper movie starring Gambit? That would do pretty well. Gambit has a really interesting backstory, especially with the different guilds and all. I'd actually rather see a Gambit movie than a Wolverine movie...
Aw, right on. All Gambit fans really must check out that fan fiction lady Lori McDonald's stories, I mean, they kick serious ass and I am not a fan of fan fiction typically. So, if Lori can write kick ass stories and I mean hundreds of pages on these two that are absolutely awsome, I mean staying up until 3 am reading it off the computer until your eyes bug out awsome than Fox can cut it. read a comic... seriously... being orphaned (or so he thought), losing the love of his life 3 times... giving up his only son, never seeing him grow up... having apocalypse in his head for a bit... and then, oh yeah, having to lead a mutant team that regularly saves the world...

i've done this before... unless a big actor decides to do it we won't see a gambit movie, why? not enough fans inside and outside comics, no studio will risk their money on a support character, unless another ben affleck comes along...
i hate wolverine, but even i can admit he's the only one(bar prof and magneto) that could hold a movie for two hours...

look, i would love to see them make a gambit movie, why? because if it does well it will make money for marvel, so then we'll see other comic movies, but i'm looking at it from a producers point of view...
