prof, logan and magneto... thats it imo...

its the writers more than anything... if they'd spent more on gambits character and less on him and rogue then you could have plenty of content...

in your seemingly bitter opinion...

"Bitter"? What on earth are you talking about? I'm simply stating that Storm was a better leader than Cyclops. Why do you take everything that has to do with Cyclops so personally? Anyway, I think that you misunderstood me. I was actually saying that GAMBIT could have a spinoff and it should be a caper movie. If done properly with not too much romance, a ROMY movie would be good, I think. By the way, what does "imo" mean?

imo=in my opinion...

if you want to argue about scott and storm, then do so, dont't just say it without reasoning... erm

the reason i don't believe a gambit movie would work is because his fan base isnt big enough imo...

the only way it will work is if a famous actor is a gambit fan and decides to make it...

if he's done well in x3 i wouldn't be surprised if their was a gambit spin off... as long as its better than elektra...

Of course he is popular enough! I mean he is the character people are crying about having in the next movie right? he is also popular enough to have his own comic series which has gone on for several years and is really quite awsome imo-he he and really, he has numerous threads (though none appear to be soley about him, which sucks) there are several petitions on him and many web sites and he was also a very important character in the cartoon. I think things are in his favor, I mean you Pr are very knowledgable about comics, that is for sure, so I find it hard to challenge your opinion about this but I think you are... no, can't be... wrong.

but hey, it's not something that can be sculpted into fact now can it, um, who won the poll so far for favorite character? who won the pole for most saught after in X3? who keeps the hot chics reading the comics? hmmm. this is somthing to think about there buddy.

Oh, who made 2 out of the 5 Marvel swimsuit covers? who has god knows how many action figures, several statues, including an incredibly awsome new one which everyone must see that starts at $126? the Hilderbrandt brothers have painted him several times, there newest portrait is for sale for $7,000 (might be 8) and my favorite one with him and Rogue sold for $6,000, the newst Rogue and Gambit for $8,000, might even be the most expensive paintings in their whole marvel collection too, you should check them out.

i know gambit is popular, but i meant not popular ENOUGH...

for every person that likes gambit there will be one or two who don't...

i mean with x-men everyone has a favourite, so you will have fans of each individual watching the movies (wolverine, cyclops, storm, nightcrawler)...

gambit is popular yes, but he's not on the level of wolverine, or hulk, or spiderman... thats why i think it wouldnt succeed unless they get either a big name or a hearthrob to play him...

he needs to be good in x3 first of all... then maybe we'll see...

sorry, one last thing...

I think if you get some sexy guy, dress him up as Gambit, get him a staff and some aces to throw that explode, have the cajun accent and the kick butt eyes, I'm pretty sure it will sell some tickets whether you are a comic nut or not.

Oh, throw in an equally appealling female with some rediculously 'perfect' skin tight outfit, who is super strong, flexing her muscles every which way, who can not be intimate with the heart throb Gambit... that is until the end of the amazing movie...

NO DOUBT, seriously awsome movie, anyone in their right mind will want to see it male or female, romantic or pervert, it will be BEAUTIFUL!

sign my petition if you agree people, what can it hurt?

i just dont want to see another elektra...

btw i signed your petition ages ago...

apologies for the double post

having eye candy is not enough...

x2 had that and was terrible...

if they can't act the part they shouldn't be considered for the movie...

Oh, Pr, you know those are not the only things I was thinking.

it could very easily remain faithful to the comics, though Fox has proven that it is not crucial (the X movies)

I haven't seen Elektra, don't know the character either

I know you signed my petition and thank you, I will not forget it, I was directing that little boost to all the lucky guys and gals who will be reading this.

Believe me, I know that about eye candy, believe me.

X2 wasn't terrible but if you think so okay.

I wouldn't have it any other way, believe me, I care more about the acting than the fact of having Gambit in a movie.

i'm the same with cyclops big grin

but i know what you mean, getting a good looking guy and a women in spandex would make money undoubtedly...

but i'd rather see a great gambit in x3 than mediocre gambit and x3 movies...

cos the way i see it is (like most x-men fans who prefer others to gambit)...

if you have an x-men enemy (cos it has to be an action movie in parts at least) people are gonna be thinkin 'oh wolverine woulda been cool in that part' or 'i'd rather see storm fight that villain'

because gambit is an x-man, he's part of a team, and i think a team dynamic works better for remy...

what enemy would you like to have in a gambit movie?

GASP!!! I don't know!!! probably Sinister, I really like him actually. I really like the whole story of him and Gambit too. Sabertooth maybe, but they alreadly messed that up. They could do a lot with Sinister, Gambit has had a lot going with the Brood too, but, I don't know about them. Maybe throw the whole Magneto thing into the pickle.

Thing is, the can't use Sinister, Juggernaut or Sabertooth...

They all have bigger histories with other X-Men, Sinister has Cyclops, Juggernaut has the Professor (so does magneto) and sabertooth has wolverine...

Gambit versus any of those would piss off a lot of people who would rather see the enemy fight the x-man they have the most history with...

yeah, well, there aer a lot of things that piss off the comic fans and Fox doesn't care. They make movies, they obviously don't care about the particulars, it COULD be done nicely I beleive and you really can't cram all the workings of the comics into the theatres anyway even though we would love to see that.

putting sinister against anyone but cyclops and jean is a bad idea...

not true...Sinster and Gambit have beef with one another...Gambit was used by Sinster...what if Gambit went all god like and had to fight Sinster...I hear Sinster is pretty tough...he's no Magneto or Apoc though but Sinster just fighting one or two Xmen would kinda suck but Rogue and Gambit against the Maraders..the guys who killed the morlocks could work...maybe have Sinster have a "kingpin" like role...operate behind the scenes..and fight the last 20 to 30 minutes of something.

i didnt say it was mainstream... but it seems a bit silly to put sinister on screen without cyclops facing him...

sinister is pretty tough, and the marauders are no pushovers, rogue and remy would need help...

and thx, i made it myself... do you mean arcane?

that's fine, Cyclops can be in it too. Who do you think would be the best villian? let me guess, no one because there shouldn't be a Gambit movie.
