I look into the mirror, in photos, my eyes.
I am searching for some sign of life.
Where once was a spark, there is now only cloud,
Ice has ripped at the coals that were there.
The skies of my eyes have become overcast.
The sun never shines over me.
I look up into that which was formerly blue,
Only grey meets my eyes as I cry.
I have lost half my soul, half my life, half of me.
I scream as the voids reach for me.
I see the things that no one else sees,
I have ever since you left me.

I'll see if I can find some of my old poetry to post when i am next home... I write them on the backs of envelopes and over old essays and stuff!
