basically use the lasso tool to select the part of the image you want.... then use the arrow tool that I've shown you... to remove the selection and just drag it into a blank canvas or wherever you want to move it to.....i hope that made sense... capped photoshop.jpg This has been downloaded 28 time(s).

there should be a little box thing that you can tick if you dont want that ...it called constrain proportions....it's on the same screen thing when you go to change the image size..
