I saw that and made the connection when Bran mentioned the comic book issue #'s I'm going to check out the comics to confirm but these old comics had a way of doing chit like that.
Picked up a water pistol a few issues back and it turned out to be a ray gun that made the LT pee in his pants. So i'll agree to disagree until i read these comics.
Because that was two issues before Dreadnaught "robbed" Superman of his powers.
Desperation mode.
How does that add up to him not being able to be overloaded?
Dread duplicating the powers doesn't mean he can't be overloaded. I can't fathom where you just made that up from. He duplicated too many powers and got overloaded because of it. You know, by duplicating powers he doesn't naturally have...
Psi literally says "Yes" to what Superman just said.
Like I, and the comic said, Superman had no powers at the time. The overloading is a neat fact, but ultimately irrelevant.
I hope you understand how silly Superman beating up Dread with Captain Marvel, MM, Aquaman, and Superman's strength sounds.
Also, why would Dread need to state he lost his powers anyway? He's presumably used to it, and also overloaded and getting the shit beat out of him.
Interesting part though, is when Dread turns his head to look at the heroes when he was supposed to be knocked out a panel later.
Duplicated, not robbed, big difference. Superman's powers were getting shut off.
Foce fed powers and duplicating are 2 completely different things.
Superman thought he could overload him like a circuit and burn, but he was duplicating powers. Overloading duplication if possible would make him lose or forget some powers but still leave him at his capacity and operable.
If superman really didn't have his powers, do you think a normal man of 6'4 220lbs can knock out a 8' hulk type animal even if he, dreadnaught had lost his powers?
Not really, it's comics, he was able to duplicate his powers but not to his degree.
Because everyone else specifically stated it, and dreadnaught was more talkative that anyone else in that book. LOL

^ Yes, I have. You can shut up now. Obviously not. Superman would need like... a plot device force-field that simulates super-durability and super-strength. And obviously there's no evidence he had access to one.
Aight, that was a constructive discussion and i'll even concede that bran might be right with his interpretation. But don't you ever phucking tell me to shut up, you phucking no life basement dweller.
Your projection has exceeded the upper limits of irony. Do you even see what you typed or do you have the memory of an illiterate goldfish? I'm the supposed "internet thug" in this conversation? You should probably look up the definition on urbandictionary.com. That is, after you shut up.
In the meantime, by all means, keep getting mad over wholly innocuous posts.
I told you to shut up after you not-so-subtly tried to throw my suggestion back in my face about reading the actual comics (unsuccessfully). That's not condescension.
That's just you getting mad over absolutely nothing and pretending that being told to shut up threatened your internet manhood reputationz such that you felt the need to reply, "But don't you ever phucking tell me to shut up, you phucking no life basement dweller." And somehow, I'm the internet thug. Hilarious.
Then again, maybe you just got mad over being completely wrong about a rather uncontroversial issue of simple fact. Or maybe you got mad that I read Superman comics. Whatever... shut up.
