Yeah, yeah, YEAH Jean would be the central character, but even making Storm the main supporting character would be a step up from her being in the black spot in the background, no pun intended. And might i add, that Halle would be more than happy to do this. She is not out to be all up in the spotlight, but do Storm justice as a strong, proud and important black woman, YESSS!

yes i hope she is one of the main characters!! and i also hope they make a storm spin-off movie as they are planning, its being talked about but its not in the works yea, just like the wolverine movie. anwyay does anyone think storm is one of the fastest if not fastest x-man. i mean she can go faster than mach three
THERE'S A SPIN-OFF! I am so out of the loop, but this is a pleasant surprise! I would die if Halle was doing it! Is she? Say she is lie to me! But i guess that to isn't in the works.... sigh.
Yeah, And I guess storm is the fastest X-men. But in reference to something earlier discussed, her flying would take a great deal of wind control, almost like telekinesis. So why can't she do that with objects or people? Her control over her powers could then be focused allowing her much better use, almost like different abilities...
well imo she does have a form of telekineses- she can lift objects, and people and can propell herself at superhuman speeds. also the wind provides kinda a type of shield. she can create hurricane winds all around herself blowing back all incoming objects and people. she can also deflect attacks by doing something to the winds pressure.
Love seems to be the determining factor in story involvement (the famous triangle of Jean, Scott, and Wolverine - we all love this drama.) Maybe if they got Storm a man, like bring in Forge, or more interestingly, have her be there for Wolverine after the loss of Jean, and when they become involved, Jean comes back! That would be quite the scenario with a lot of potential. There does seem to be tension of that sort between the characters as well the actors Halle and Hugh.
As earlier discussed, storm being the main supporting character to jean wouldn't be possible anyway. Wolverine and Cyclops would be camera-hoggingly violent towards each other in the fight for her and relieved to have her back.
All I'm saying is, if she had that much more control over the different parts of her powers, it would be like they were complete different ones, like telekinesis and making lightning objects. Her body is immune to sub zero temperatures, like Bobby. If she had more control over ice, she could be like Icewoman, wrapping ice around herself and other things.
Wait, Wait. Nightcrawler? Ewww! Are you serious? Not exactly handsome enough, no that that would matter to Storm. They never had a thing going anywhere else, and isn't he romantically linked to Kitty Pryde/ Shadow Cat? (How did I remember how to spell that?)
yeah they have a connection in the comics as well as the movie and yeah if storm and the writers really studied her powers then they'd ealize she is more powerful than anyone thinks. yeah imo she should be able to create an ice slide, walls, and shields just by freezing certain parts of moisture. just like concentrated hail in a way.
if its the dark phoenix the next main characters (and quite rightly) would be cyclops and the professor... storm and wolverine would be next...
and storm controls wind, she doesnt have the precision or control to make it telekinesis...
she is not that powerful, never will be, she controls factes of the weather, not the weather itself... and hail is nowhere near cold enough to create those things...
i know that she doesan't have telekineses but in a way the wind is just like it to a lesser degree. and hail is just frozen water(ice) that freezes way in the clouds before they come to earth. the condensation and moisture she can freeze(hail) so just frzzing bita and pieces of it she should be able to thingsd like that by concentrating
no, she can create hail, strong hail, but she cannot manipulate it... it depends on the cloud formations, which she can manipulate. her power is not specific enough or powerful enough to accomplish those feats...
but thats how you make hail- by freezing the water or moisture in the air- she freezes certain parts of the moisture or condensation in the air to make these- i'm not saying she can do this but its possible
i know how to make hail... and thats all it is, hail, she can make it bigger sure, but colder? no... she is not that powerful... its possible, but not for her...
but hail is frozen water(ice) she can just make the hail certain shapes- when you control the weather you can make the hail any size you want(well not any size but bigger). hail is ice so why not be able to freeze cartain parts of the moisture in the air to make ice objects
hail is just frozen moisture and water in the air(rain) it freezes while it is coming to earth- it can be the size of a basketball to the size of a penny. she can freeze people(omega red) so why not freee objects
