this is gunna make me sound so stupid but i gotta ask
aight ppl. no laughin at me. i grew up in a skewl wit 68 kids in it (k-12 grades) we only had two dances all skewl year (3 if we were lucky) one was for homecoming which we had ta co-op wit another skewl for, one was for the end of basketabll season and if our principle liked da class dat was throwin it, another dance jus fer da hell of it. well i've heard of saddie hawkins dances before but wat is so speical bout them, y r they celebrated and made such a big deal out of???? i'm sorry if dis is a waste of space but i couldnt ask it da actual saddie hawkins thread, and i rilly wanna know

Saddie Hawkin was like a tom boy back in the day and she met this guy that was like the guy of her dreams...you know the Captain of the Football team type. Well she got up the nerve to ask the guy to Prom where possibly no one else would have asked her....he said yes, and it's been forever remembered by schools as an important dance.
