Ok, here is my view on what will happen. Dumbledore will die, why I don't know. I haven't gotten all the facts straight, but everything pretty much will point to him. Second, Hagrid is the Half Blood Prince I believe. If you posted who the HBP is already, I look at all the bost in the thread, too many of them. Anyway, Hagrid is Half Blood Prince because he is half blood himself, and his mother, who we still don't know, could be the Queen of Giants. Sirius will probably come back, but not dead or alive, as a dementor, because I believe that is what is behind the viel, you go behind there you become a dementor. That is all I can possible think on the new book HBP. What do you think? Think I could be right?

Hm... very interesting idea of what's behind the veil. There is for sure something weird and ominous about what is behind the veil, I think thats possible, because we really have never been told how dementors and created or where them come from. But if Sirius came back as a dementor how would we know it was him? I've never thought that dementors had any kind of identity...
Dog-like dementor? I dont think that would happen...but who knows. I thought that behind the dementor's hood was just a skull like thing with a hole where the mouth is (what they use to give the "dementor's kiss"). I just always assumed that they were like skeletons or something like that. But i've never thought about where they come from. what do you think?

I still think behind the viel. Heck, maybe Sirius will show up before Dumbledore dies (if he does, I still think he does), and Dumbledore tells Harry it is him, since Dumbledore does seem to have a firm grasp on a lot of stuff, he might know it is Sirius. Then maybe Sirius kills Dumbledore, then there is a battle between Sirius and Harry. Who knows?

I think dumbledore might die also (so sad), if not in book6 then probably in book 7. I dont know about sirius, although I do feel like Harry is going to find some way to communicate with him, even if he's not physically alive again. But I have no clue how that would happen.

Still for Sirius being dementor. And I hate that Dumbledore might die, but the facts point to him. Now, KKdave, what do you think about that Hagrid is the Half Blood Prince. He is half blood, his mother might be queen of giants, it is of course him. I have filed everyone out down to him. And it isn't Dean, because JKR said it would do something with Neville then... sorry I can't tell you more on that, I haven't gone to her website to see it, but I hear it from others who saw it on her website that Dean isn't it.

Yeah I don't think it's dean either, he's not an important enough character. The Half Blood Prince has to be a important character to the novel, which is why i think Hagrid is a good guess. Also because the little known history of Hagrid's mother, it's very likely. I think it's either going to be hagrid or that new character (mcclaggan?), who I think will also be the new defense against the dark arts teacher, and will be very important to book 6.

Hmmm. Interesting. But seriously, Hagrid is the best guess as of now since McClaggan isn't really known to us. Now, what do you think on Peter Pettigrew killing Lupin with his silver hand? Peter getting a silver hand kind of throws that right out there.

Hmm... I actually never thought of that before or made that connection. Whats the connection between silver and wearwolves? I'm probably sounding stupid here, but I dont know. Thats possible, but I don't want it to happen. if Lupin dies then every father figure in harry's life is dead, that'd be really sad. I feel bad for harry, i wish no one else had to die.

Were Wolves die from being his by silver. I know, I don't want it to happen either, but I believe in the end , Moony, Padfoot, Wormtail, and... crap I don't know all there names, I don't have the third book here with me, anyway, I think in the end they all will be dead, and JKR is sorta forshadowing it with Wormtail having a silver hand, yea?

prongs is the last one, which if ofcourse james potter. Yeah, it's likely that they could all die in the end. The silver thing makes it seem like there might be some confrontation between wormtail and lupin, but i would much rather have lupin win

Of course, we all wont it. but you got to admit, if she gave the silver to Peter, he is going to use it. Maybe, I hope, the both kill each other at the same time, so Lupin wont die in vein, and avanged his friends James and Lily.
