Martian Manhunter VS. Aquaman
Everytime these two show up in these threads, telepathy is always brought up and putting the fight in their favor. Who would win in a battle between JLA second strain heroes? Scenario: First time meeting, they no nothing about each others powers/weaknesses. Who takes it?

1) Martian Manhunter is NOT a JLA 'second strain' hero. Any ranking of the JLA would have Jjon JJonz in the top three.
2) Aquaman is a strong telepath (especially in the last few years his telepathic abilities have gotten a shot in the arm, making them formidable), but he is nowhere close to the Martian Manhunter. MM is just beyond Aquaman in every single aspect, both in terms of sheer magnitude of capability all the way to skill and experience. Note that not only is the Martian Manhunter strong enough to touch all the minds on Earth (even when on the moon), but he has experience in the use of telepathic powers that goes back years (as a martian he got the past memories and experiences of his now extinct race, which every martian got, going back centuries).
Aquaman would have no chance. There is a reason Martian Manhunter has been said, several times, to be not only the most dangerous member of the JLA but also the most dangerous being on Earth.
Aquaman just doesn't come close to even posing a threat to Jjon.

Geez, spetz covered absolutely everything I wanted to say. But just for the hell of it, I also believe MM would beat, or rather, DEMOLISH Aquaman. And to restate this already brought up fact, MM is NOT a second string JLA'er. At all.
