If he had a full hardcore drumset like Neil Pert or Nick mason or Danny Carey and show off his full skills on a bigger drumset that would allow that. Because him and that two tom one bass and a snare with a thousand cymbols just doesn't cut it for me
also you don't need a massive drum kit like that to show you're a good drummer, id respect someone more who uses a smaller drum kit and still made quality music from it.
as for the clip, the most impressive bit for me is how he lifts the bucket off the floor to get a different sound from it.

Has anyone seen some of the DCI drummer's video's?
Those guys are crazy on some rudimental marching drums, and I think that qualifys them on at least some technical ability.
True. But it is still pretty spectacular. Not to be compared with Carey's or Pert's because theres have stuff like synth's and crazy soundmaking drumpads and stuff like that. In Mason's later years like when he was working on the Wall he did indeed have a very lovely drumset that i would DIE for. DCI? It depends on the core, because my cousin was in a DCI drum core, division II of course, and he was not that good
Anyone that is interested can see some genuinely amazing drummers on that site, rather than assuming that the best drummer ever must be one of the drummers from the limited amount of bands they listen to.
It's hard to say who really is the best, we all have our own taste.
But then again...
I've seen the streetdrummer vid before. It's amazing yeah. John Bonham (Led Zeppelin RIP) was amazing. My personal #1 is Dale
Crover of the Melvins. It's so complicated what he does. Asynchronous patterns, rhythm going from 4/4 to 5/4 or 5/8. Dale never leaves a count spared. It's hard to get "into" the Melvins sound, but ones you start to know a few songs and listen to his drums, it's stunning. If you try to follow him, it's impossible. Everything is different. Mirroring patterns. Sometimes I cannot even explain, just listen. Example are the songs "the anti vermin seed" (technical) and "the bit" (heavy)
