I am stopping posting on this thread, suffice to say I suspect I am older than you and I do not want attention, please do not make your motives my own. I am interested only in freedom of speech, inclusivity and community.
I think pics and bios as a must makes it less inclusive, although most recent threads I have started follow this format.
I believe in the individual and only the forum itself making rules not a minority of people. I have made my views felt that this is a well modded forum and nothing is really wrong with it.
Long Pig if you are going to PM me with the olive branch and then speak out in this fashion, well..................I rest my case

To me this is a comics forum nothing more nothing less a place to come and post and debate. I avoid making things personal first If you read back, there may be a duality in my posts but little is aimed at any individual and I agree with some points, can you and your little "gang" say the same

this is nowhere near personal... every forum needs rules... what rules exist already arent being followed, which forces the mods to undertake even more work... its not fair on them and its not fair on us either...
if people cant follow the basic rules, then they need new rules to show them how good they have it already...
my "gang"? seems like your the one taking this personally...

For having an opposing point of view I mean people have claimed everything from my smileys are the KGB to I insult them and then been abusive. I have made no personal attacks on anyone only on the perception I have that few people post on this thread and few people have posted in the poll. The poll is divided and unclear and really all this is about is the search function and more rules to make people feel important. Like you PR I post in other parts of this forum and I see no problems anywhere.

Anyways, to many of us this isn't "just a forum, nothing more nothing less ", we like it, we like the people on it, we care about it, and we don't want it to go downhill.

Well it obviously worried you enough to PM me and you obviously do care about this forum,I do not dispute that, I unlike you do offer an olive branch. That being everyone is entitled to an opinion, even kids, if you are an adult you should believe in free speech to both our countries were built on this concept. nobody said you werent entitled to your opinion, but youve been her since what, april? you didnt see the forum when it was in much better condition... it has gone downhill drastically since the new year came in...

the vs forum is in a bigger mess than you realise... its not a playground, its a forum for debate, intelligent, reserched, well thought out debate...

So you dismiss my debate as not well thought out. As I say some of my remarks have duality to them. That means if people wish to see something in them that they don't like perhaps because its got the ring of truth to it. They can.

Oh, another idea....Before you can press the "sumbit thread" button, it should pop up a message that says something like: "Are you sure?"
or "Are you sure you searched before posting this?".
thats what im talking about... using duality as an excuse is ridiculous... your insinuations that we are all in some clique is insulting to say the least...
we all have the best interests at forum at heart...
its like your buddy list, just add the name...
that would be a really good idea, but we'd have to put in several variables, plus whos going to be the poor sod to catalogue all these threads for that list...
