Just saw the directors cut of this yesterday, and i must say, it is far easier to follow that the cinematic release. There is still one thing which doesn't add up though, how the hell does he time travel at the end? According to Roberta Sparrow's book he has to use a metal craft, you see him driving a car but surely that wouldn't suffice. I don't think this part of the film is fully explained.

I think it was the planes engine that opened the hole?

I have the directors cut, so is it that much better? I might watch it then!

Is the director's cut better than the original?

In some ways it's better, in some ways it's worse. I think it would be good to have both. I still haven't gotten the DC. embarrasment

I watched it just before!!

It had alot more information in it, which made it easier to understand...

I have a question...why are people crying at the end? they wouldn't have found out about donnie already? or is it because on the directors cut they say that sometimes people who go back remember it, is that why everyone is up and relised what happened??

People are crying because of what are know as echos, echos from the tangent universe. Each character gets a glimpse of what happened, usually in dreams. If you read the DD website it says that Jim Cunningham ends up killing himself because of what he sees in the tangent universe, justice i guess.

when you say "wat happens", do you mean what "would" have happened because he went back in time and went down a different path? he killd himself because of why?

this movie may have been good, if it had any kind of point.
