It wasn't intentional PR. It was because your team had chosen a deceased character. I originally intended to just use Max against a corpse, then as things expanded, Lady gave me the ok to switch and allowed your team the last living incarnation of Black Canary I. That's the only character change our team has made since our penalty card.

Yes, but her latest depiction is still that of a retired middle aged super hero. It's latest incarnation, not prime incarnation. Even in her prime she was just a normal woman with police detective skills and no powers. Max or Elektra would still kill her in a cage.

which wouldn't help inside of a cage; the birds can't get inside [it would be like a Hitchcock movie]

Max the attack dog could take her, even the young vibrant version of her in the leotard, jacket, and wig; she was just a normal woman with some martial arts skill and police training.)

Then, upon reading it, Lady said (in reaction to my post on the battle between Elektra & Black Canary, as well as quoting it) [pg 51]:

Now, no, she never directly said she approved my character change our team leader submitted for me, but she did make a direct reference to the scenario I posted with the character she offered for me to substitute in. It may have been an oversight on her part, but considering not only does she refer directly to the character scenario, but also made numerous other posts afterwards, none of which diasallowed the character switch she herself offered, one can then deduce (not assume; deduce, as in deductive reasoning based on the evidence presented, not pre-conceived notions) that she approves because she referred to the character scenario, which included the character in question directly, and she did not disallow it then or in her successive posts.

If not, then I've submitted my alternate for her approval and I'm still waiting on Lady.

It's really of no consequence. Max could easily kill a middle aged woman in a cage, as well as the original powerless Canary, Dinah Drake-Lance, in her prime. He's taken out small groups of thugs that had broken into Punisher's Safehouse alone.
