I've got to go thumb through that Morg comic again, but I don't remember any planets being destroyed in the fray.
I'll admit that I've been giving him too little credit, because I can see where I'm cutting him short everytime I defend the GLs, but to think that they would be bacteria that could be killed in a nanosecond is clearly giving Silver Surfer more props than he deserves.
And even though I couldn't possibly think about a plausible scenario where he does something to tilt the battle in their favor....opponents with power like Silver Surfer are EXACTLY the type of guys that Batman thinks of kooky schemes to beat. He'll grab something out of his belt that no one knew about, "reverse the polarity" because that's what always needs to be done...and then do something completely ridiculous by any standards except those held by DC, like turn SS in a chicken.
Your out of your mind. Surfer covers lightyears in seconds. Superman is a snail compared to him. GL is nowhere near as powerful as Surfer and you know it.
Man, you know nothing about superman or green lantern. Superman is faster than lightspeed, he is as fast as surfer, and stronger and more durable. Lantern ring power are as strong as cosmic power. Any of them could kick surfer ass.

Im lying? are you mad or something? Superman pre-crisis was able to move planets and fly for the universe and stop a comet or a rocket. Same with superman post crisis.
