Ha...well I don't think anyone should say 'myself' when talking about most powerful amalgams because of the obvious bias. Excluding myself, I had Khell, Scoob, Nataku, LP as more powerful than the others. With what I know now, I'd remove Nataku's from that...not because it wasn't a good amalgam, but he was too one-sided. His guy was probably the best brawler in the tourney (General Kinky included) but didn't have much else to go on (magic, energy stuff, speed force, etc.). Even if he hadn't forfeited, I don't think he could have made it all the way.
Magic seems to be the ruling philosophy thus far. Scoob can attack magic, LP and I have it in droves, etc. Majestic has a tiny bit of magic, but Khell's guy is the exception.
And in response to what is going on in the match right now, I agree that things could move a bit faster, but to be honest it hasn't bothered me. I'm in no hurry to finish the tourney, and waiting doesn't get to me too much...just more time to plan my unbeatable strategies....hehe.
especially with FT's rippling abs and long flowing hair (um....as he might say.... not me.....no....)

Actually, I never said my guy was unbeatable. And I took myself out of consideration when talking about most powerful amalgams just to be a nice guy. And for that, I get 5-6 posts on how much General Kinky sucks. Well screw you guys.
Oh, and a while back I mentioned not wanting to fight someone...it was actually Khell, mainly because I had no idea exactly what Maelstrom is capable of. At least I knew what I was getting with everyone else.
And it'll still be a good fight, but after making my initial write-up in case I have to fight Khell, I'm quite a bit more comfortable if he and I face off.
Stormfront would've been tricky to fight...I'll admit that. LP too, if we end up fighting...but I think we both know the "secret plan" the other is planning on using if we fight, since neither one is really a secret (though just in case LP doesn't know, I won't say what it is), so we'll both have our work cut out for us.
In any case, luck of the draw is obviously part of this...some people match up better against some than others, and we might have 3-4 different winners if we re-did the tournament with various different match-ups.
are you talking about General Kinky?.... ok... we got the solar power thing.....hmmmmm..... he doesn't have the Kryptonite weakness..... doesn't need a lot of air to function..... can survive in space..... has magical abilities..... is very strong, very durable and has enhanced healing (though not Wolverine level).... fires solar energy attacks from face region....... he's got a suit of armour that boosts his strength and stamina...... ok.... i give up.... what is it?
it's just that i think you may be mistaken........ unless by "weakness" you mean an area that he isn't strong in rather than something that would be easily exploitable for use against him... such as Druid and the Iron weakness.... or Superman and Kryptonite
wow...i'm stirring up some controversy here. Personally, I don't what it could be either. I don't have some gaping flaw except for the ones that have already been mentioned (though I doubt sexual orientation is a weakness).
Unless stormfront knows something about Apollo that I don't (highly unlikely) or about Loki (much more probable, but still suspect) I don't see it.
In any case, I'll just take SF for his word...he would've beaten me incredibly easily, and exploited what we shall refer to as "Weakness X"...too bad it'll never happen now...hehe.
