"Hagrid, get the first years inside, quickly. I mean it! Here, i found these getting swept away." the woman looked worried as she shunted ten or fifteen kids forwards.
"Mr Hagrid, Mr Hagrid sir!" another fifteen children were making there way over to them.
“Hurry up now, come on, come on!” Professor McGonagal cried. “I shall meet you at the castle Hagrid.”
“Right, okay firs’ years, follow me now!” Hagrid nodded at McGonagal then pointed to some seven-seated cars. “We’ll make our way ter the school in those,” he explained, “Then we get inside, where you’ll meet me in the entrance ‘all!”
The first year students followed him obediently.
“Whoa! It’s huge!” Ron emphasized.
“Too right, mate.” Harry agreed. Indeed the building was big, very big. It had four, vast-looking floors, with stained glass windows dotted everywhere, the lights inside lit.
“Welcome to Whitburn!” Hagrid beamed as he pushed open the oak doors.
It looked almost like a castle: the staircase had eagles situated at the bottom and top of the banister; the lights were fake candles; the many, many doors all around the hall were all oak and heavy looking.
“Through ‘ere” Hagrid said, leading them all through a door into another, but much smaller, hall. “Wait for Professor McGonagol to give yeh yer instructions.”
And he left.
“How long do we have to wait?” Ron moaned. “My feet are killing me!”
“Oh, do stop whinging! We will wait as long as we wait!” Hermione said.
"I am Draco Malfoy." the boy(it was his cold sneer)said, ignoring Ron
Ron and Harry tried not to burst out laughing.
"You can laugh! No need to ask for your name; long hair, and a hamd-me-down robe? You must be a Weasley"
Ron's grin slid off his face.
"And you..." Malfoy looked Harry up and down "...you are?"
The first year students followed her anxiously, wondering what was in store for them.
"I heard they give you a test!!" someone muttered.
"No way! They make you do a challange!" somebady else hissed.
"Oh, do stop it!" Hermione said. "They look at your personal record, ask you a few questions and sort you into a house"
