The One

Yes yes, I know you yanks saw this bloody ages ago but it's not been out long here.

I enjoyed it, the acting was a little wooden and Turkish (from Snatch) has a piss-poor American accent, but overall I think everyone who would go to see a film like this is going to watch the cool fight scenes and they certainly delivered.

7/10 smokin'

Speaking as an Asian and someone that have seen Asian made kung fu movies for years and years, The One was the worst fighting movie I have ever seen in my freaking life. The story line sucks and have absolutely no scientific basis, speaking as a physics major. And finally, the actings were horrible.

Hey, I'm not asian, and I've seen plenty of kung fu movies, and since when did movies, especially kung-fu style movies, have to have correct scientific basis?? I thought it was a good take at a wild idea, a multiverse? Pretty crazy huh? I liked it. And i'll admit the acting could've been better, but seeing Jet Li pull off two opposite personalites and fighting styles was pretty cool!

I like this movie...........it is a great watch. I consider it a guilty pleasure.....there is nothing high brow about it, just good plain fun...no thought involved.

I think the idea was great.....sure they ripped off a bunch of different movies/tv shows (like Sliders) and created their own little hodge podge of a movie, but it is enjoyable to watch and that is what counts.

I think the very first slow motion action scene is better than any of the Matrix action scenes. You know, the scene where "Let the Bodies hit the Floor" is playing. It was just bad ass to see everybody else in slow motion flying through the air while Lee just walks up to them at normal speed and kicks them.

Tomacco.........alot of people have seen this movie. It is quite popular.

Nobody ever claimed this film was Oscar worthy..........but even the WWE has an audience. It's all about entertainment. That's the sole purpose of movies, to entertain.
