Well, he's wrong. The guy in charge of the whole things has described how thae fact that Eccleston was leaving early was blown too soon by an ill-informed press department that gave reasons that Christopher himself is pissed at because the reasons given were not true.

I like Christopher Eccleston, I don't like david Tennant, that'll just ruin the series even more than Billie Piper in these. To be honest - she is better than I expected but still does my head in. I prefer the older series - my fav doc is peter Davison. number 5 if memory is correct. I was fairly dissapointed at the episode with Simon Pegg in, I love him and that episode was crap - but it did get rid of Bruno Langley!
