Even the worst band in the world probably has a better sense of rythmn, structure, and accord than DEP.

I realize that we're speaking in our own opinions, but I have an incredibly hard time finding any basis for that. They are noise, plain and simple. Inaudible, intolerable, inchoate noise. If I were to describe the "music" of DEP, it would be what a epileptic seizure would sound like, set to music. But, in "art", there are a lot of variables that have to be taken into account, unfortunately taste isn't always one of them.

BTW, reason I didn't put Reznor as my favorite solo artist is because I don't really count him as one... He no longer does everything on his albums himself, and his writing is such that he needs a band to perform live.
