Ok, if we agree with the song or poem chalenge (rogue and tassie please confirm it) then, the house (prefects) should decide which of the first 3 griffyndors (that will post first) will represent us!
That's a good idea - but I think three entries is quite alot for a song! Howabout members just post their songs and then we pick the 'best' one via vote and enter it? That way the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw prefects wont have 6 songs to judge

What challenge are you guys talking about? It's either us or Slytherin to come up with a Challenge, isn't it? And what's this about Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff prefects?
We're just talking about the school song challenge Slytherin came up with, and the H & R prefects thing was just a mild reference to the judging at the end. We'll all have to judge each others entries but if there are three entries per House then we'd all have 9 to judge
Or maybe Unicor means three members to come up with the song? I think that people can either come up with their own songs or we just go with the flow, someone comes up with a line or verse would be better, then another member adds to it and so on and so forth. It's all just speculation though cos it's upto you Heads to make the challenge official

ok, as long as we have all the rules clearly, and set in place, you all can go along, and the prefects (either you or eezy, of course) can go ahead and post the challenge..
And 3 entries per house will be too much i think, considering the last event, that every house should just submit one entry..
I think that they should submit one also. And regarding the judging, I think that a Prefect from each house should judge,but not judge their own house.
I don't get the talk about the Ravenclaw's and Huffelpuff, but if each house judge the other 3, and not there own, that should work out.

YEP. I meant that we should chose one song , from the first three proposed. and since we and the SLytherins compete to have only the Ravenclaw's and Huffelpuff judging, along with one of the heads.
Hold on a sec, I think we've got our wires crossed ALL of the houses compete in every challenge but the one(s) that win choose the next challenge and we don't judge our own House.
So iit wont just be Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw judging, we all will be because all four will compete. I'm going to go tell the Slytherins that we accept their challenge idea and ask them to anounce exactly what it is to all the Houses.
Sorry, I missunderstood it, I though that only slytherin and griffyndor would compete. But I like more this way, all 4 houses!
So, where is the dead line for submission!!!! Can I propose a "sorting hat song" (none of the previouse -mikcy mouse one)????
Hi Griffindors! AD Skinner is now officially the Slytherin Prefect. I have asked him to take over & post the announcement on the 2nd Inter-House Challenge in the official Inter-House Challenge thread.
As you say, the initial rules are as follows:
1. Only 1 Song Entry Per House
2. Only 1 Prefect per house will judge
3. Each Judging Prefect will judge only the entries of the 3 other houses, meaning he/she will NOT be allowed to judge the entry from his/her own house.
with regard to the deadline, let's not rush this one again - i think we should give it more time in consideration of our schedules - we're not online all the time.
...and since we tied the win with you for the 1st Inter-House challenge, we would also like to ask your suggestions on the guidelines & scoring system
Originality should again count for much - HP poems & songs are abound on the web, we should check if the songs posted here were just lifted from other sources - what do you think?
No Sauron, thats the reason why 10 points were deductor from Griffyndor-because I was posting in other common rooms! See, only prefects can post in common rooms, and in the interchallenge thread. The other students can post everywhere else (including the Hogwart caffe)!
Uni is right. Only Prefects can post in other peoples Common's Room. I have to talk to tassie about this. This might be deducted points for Slytherins.

nah, alot of ppl posted in other houses ((incl some of our members)) and i didnt deduct points from them... plus Sauron's kinda new to the whole thing, seeing as he completely missed the first challenge, so i'll let Slytherin off the hook for now
Once in a while posting in other common rooms is mildly accepltable..
