All I hear is the Wii is for kids, the Wii isn't Next-Gen, and the Wii is just a gimmick and yet it has already sold 7 million consoles. And this is without these so called "good" games. Now imagine what will happen once the Wii gets its good games like Super Mario Galaxy, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and Fire Emblem.
Thats the reason I don't want to get a Wii. Its just all those games all over again.
I got the N64 for Goldeneye and Perfect Dark
Gamecube for Resident Evil remake and Star Wars Rouge Squadron.
I don't feel justified in buying the Wii for Super Smash Bros Brawl since its not a story driven game and I can live merrily playing Melee on my Gamecube.
If you can come up with a good reason to persuade me into buying a Wii I'd like to hear.
Though its not really the sequel factor that I'm put off by, its the Nintendo characters that I don't like. Plus its more the fact that I'm more of an online player than anything else, thats whats stopping me getting a Wii.
The reason I asked for people to persuade me to get a Wii is because the generally consensus is saying that the Wii is better than the PS3 and 360. If thats the case, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to tell me why its so great?

The reason why thats the general consensus is because most of the people just plain prefer the Wii, and it's games. I'm sure if you went to the Sony Forum, or a Final Fantasy forum, the general opinion would be vastly different.
Explain then how the Wii is selling so much then? With reference to the games.
The undeniable fact is, that the Wii is only selling because of the Wii-mote and the uniqueness connected with it.
If it was only games that sold a console then the PC would slaughter everything but PC games don't sell too well in comparison to how much console games are sold.
Plus since its a new console how would people know how the games played? Yes, there is reviews but I'm sure there was brilliant reviews for Gamecube games and also with stands in game stores I doubt very much that 9 million people played and decided from playing it in a game store.
Err, because the Wii games seem more attractive? The means behind that is rather irrelevant. Comparing PC to console is a non-starter because of the vast difference in investment needed to kick off the habit. Convenience is a factor in absoluely any game at all, as well.
Image is all. PS2 comprehensively won the image war last time. T kick off, Wii won this one, but there's a long way still to go.

if, you ask me, i'd say that the wii is the o.k. system that you play with friends sometimes, the ps3, is the system that you play, like once a month, and the 360 is the best.
