Well, I disagree that he is the greatest martial artist of all time. However, that is not what is in dispute right now. Being a great marshal artist, does not by definition make you capable of beating a world champion boxer with the size, speed and power of Ali.
If you are not willing to read an argument contrary to yours, that by and large puts forth a better argument than you could, on the basis that it is too long and you lack the attention span, then don't bother arguing. By that statement you give the perception that you are either too lazy to read, or that you have been bested in a dispute and have no defense other than the, "I'm not listening, I'm not listening" defense so popular in the early grade school years.
@F1 - I read the article that you posted, and it did nothing to further your point. Fa-jing is like someone's "chi" an energy perceived by others, but by no means a measurable physical characteristic. We are talking about physical capability, not mystical mumbo jumbo.

Me neither, its just an excercise, nothing more. While the West believed in developing themselves externally the East believed in both, but, more internally.

Are you serious?!
And how do you know this?.....No a street fighter couldn't beat me...Well maybe a strong guy could but versus someone like my brother..uum no... street fighters especially ones who have hardly any experiences in fighting would be beaten badly by some one who does TKD..(If the TKD martial artist knows how to apply their techniques) Tai Chi isn't much of a Fighting martial art...it's more for the mind, spirtuality, and healing of the body.. and against Muay Thai...Yes Muay Thai martial artist would Kick just about any TKD or Karate martial artist....TKD and Karate are to set in there ways, everything is planned before hand, set movements, block, punch and kick etc.
This really shows how little you know about the Martial Arts....Anyone one can fight but most people don't really use their legs in fights...and TKD allows you to become more comfortable with your legs and to attack and defend with them...I mean look at Chuck Norris...Karate Champion......So yea, I mean i'm sure weight size and height have some factors in a fight but if you're fighting an average 5'9" guy it's goin to be a pretty fair fight....and for you to say something as what i quoted you on, do you have any martial arts experience or fighting experience...If not then how would you know that any street fighter could be me?....
You need to pull your head out of your ass!
A real street fighter would probably kick anyones ass on this forum.
You know why?
In a "real" street fight their are no rules. In a street fight guns, knives and anything else is allowed.Sure you might rough a guy up,but that won't help when your shot or stabbed or gang beaten. Most street fighters (not bar brawlers) are ruthless murders.Don't let anyone else tell you different.

Re: Re: Are you serious?!
i'm a girl.....hehe i know that....I'm glad ur tellin me this though...i am well aware of that...my grandfather used to be a boxer and when he used to go to the bar and get drunk he would start fights....he was scary...any way he's been shot stabbed and all that.....i've heard so many stories...but yea I'm for Ali now...Only cause i know what a boxer is capable of now.....
and who said that anyone on this forum would follow the rules, and the fact that you really dont know anything about what combat training people here have your statement dont hold ground
Lenny Mclean AKA The Guvnor, would beat any Martial Artist, or just about anybody, he was one hard B*****D. Street Fighters don't think logically, they will do anything to win, and you say they have know experience, they thought in the back streets, the school of hard knocks. I hope you never encounter one, your Ego will be severely dinted. And on Tai Chi as fighting system. Its probably the most devastating one around and the oldest. The reason you don't see Tai Chi Masters fighting in no-holds barred competitions, is because they dont have Ego's. They do not need to prove themselves like these muscle heads.
as long as you dont know everyones combat skill on this forum you should refrain making comments about what would happen in a battle cause you wouldnt know
