Both Friend to Friend
and Everyone's Forgotten.
I like em, they pluck my heartstrings... a lot of experiences.... and you write about many memories of mine. Very cool, and very painful too, haha... but I love it man.
yes. LP is great. and exactly what I feel right now. It would be much easier to flee this pain than to stay.

What can I say to change your mind?
what can I do for you to be mine?
what did I do to deserve this pain?
I know you still care, can see it in your eyes
yet you don’t want it, why??
why just friends, why now, why this time?
Never a chance, you’ve never given me a shot,
every time life gets rough you back away always giving up
never sticking through to see what could have been
always going back to safe,
you never take a chance
never have the guts to risk it all, on that, the one small chance....
we were full of possiblities, yet you killed the thoughts when the
waters got rough,
yet I will never surrender my imagination
to the limitations of your reality, I will always think of you
and me together in dreams, even if it is all pretend....
ok havent gotten to writing more poems but just wanted to share some of my favorite works by other people...i have no clue who they are but heres some random peoples works:
If I were platinum, then would I be treated precious and rare? Instead of just a burden to bear. Would I have someone that cares? Maybe my
life would have more worth and merit, if my body and soul were
converted into carats. The police would never attack me,
instead they would guard me. People would want me, instead of give up,
and discard me. But it seems that the world could care less, as we
perish. While platinum and diamonds are adored and cherished. How is
it that a mere stone glistening and gleeming holds more
value and admiration than us as human beings. It's sad that the highest
value can be placed on an object so small. While life is treated as if it
holds absolutely no value at all.
Perfectly Red Roses
By BookARS
I want it all.
I want the world, the stars, the moon.
I want the sun, the clouds, the sky.
I want summer, and winter, and autumn, and spring.
I want it all.
I want to make someone cry.
I want to make people second-guess what they do.
I want someone to be jealous of me.
I want it all.
I want my name in lights outside the theatre.
I want people to call my name, to chant it, to scream it.
I want perfectly red roses thrown onstage,
And I want them everywhere.
I want it all.
I want the winds at my command,
Ready to sing and destroy worlds with their devastating voices.
I want the rain to pour down in sheets
With the ferocity of a god.
I want a flood worthy of an ark.
I want it all.
I want soldiers to come home.
I want tears of joy on the faces of their families.
I want the flag to fly higher, wave prouder.
I want liberty and justice for all.
I want it all.
I want to be beautiful.
I want red lips, bright eyes, perfect teeth.
I want everything you have, and I want more.
I want to laugh at the world with the security of knowing
I am nothing less than what I want.
I want it all.
I want it all
And I don't want you to stop me.
Another poem not by me but I really liked it, its by Stephen Coleman
I wanna hear a poem
I wanna learn something I didn’t know
I wanna say "yes" at the end, because I'm sick of saying "so?"
I wanna hear a poem about who you are
And what you think
And why you slam
Not a poem about me and my poem
Because I know who I am
I wanna hear a love poem
A sad poem
An "I hate my dad" poem
A dream poem
An "I'm not what I seem" poem
An "I need" poem
An "I also bleed" poem
An "I'm alone" poem
An "I can't find my home" poem
I just wanna hear a poem
I wanna hear a poem about revolution
About fists raised high
And hips twisting in a rumble like a rumba
I wanna follow the footsteps of Chè
And hear the truth about the days of CIA killed the Lumumba
I wanna hear a poem about struggle
So that when I open my mouth, I can step outside myself
I wanna listen to no less than the sounds of protest
In the factories where workers sweat and make Air Jordans and Pro-Keds because
If you wanna take shots at people
Target Phil Knight and Bill Gates
Contemplate how
They own the products
And they got the goods
How they act like they care
But they're just Robin Hoods
And because every second matters
I wanna hear long poems
and short poems
about time and its limits
because it took less
than three minutes
to attack Abner Louisma
to frame Assata Shakur
and destroy Hiroshima
to kill Eleanor Bumpers
and Anthony Baez
to gun down Malcolm
with bullets
they bought from the Feds
I wanna hear a poem where ideas kiss similes so deeply that metaphors get jealous
Where the subject matters so much that adjectives start holding pro-noun rallies at city hall
Because I wanna hear a poem that attacks the status quo
That attracts the claps of the cats with the fattest flows
That makes the crowd pass the hat
And pack my cap with a stack of dough
I wanna hear a poem that makes this audience yell “hoooo!” (hoooo!)
Because I wanna guess your favorite color
Then craft rhyme schemes out of thin air
I wanna hear a poem about why the statute of limitations for rape is only five years
I wanna hear a poem
I wanna feel a poem
I wanna taste a poem
Give me your spot on the mic if you wanna waste a poem
nope....i have like half of it done...its sorta reminisent to the i wanna hear a poem one but different.....man i have writers block that lasts me forever....ok well i just made a descision....I cant remember if ive post ALL of my old poems so if you want all the ones that I have ever posted (on a different site, more than here) go to:
