Ok, saw this yesterday. I thouight the film was bloody amazing, though I would never deny that Lynch films are not for everyone. The lesbianism was very much appreciated as well...
The inside cover of the DVD sleeve has ten tips from Lynch to help understand the movie, though to be honest, you need ten hints to understand the ten hints...
It's easier to work out than Lost Highway, though. Which was also very good.

Actually, can any of you guys remember the name of the film that is being made during Mulholland Drive? That's important but I missed what it was.
I think it was only mentioned once. But without knowing what the film was there is no way to know why it is important!

Oh, and there is NOTHING wrong with the acting in this film! There is some very deliberate caricaturing, though.

If they sounded forced, they were meant to. The two female leads were both characters from 50's movies (though not in the last third of the film). Betty, in particular, [SPOILER - highlight to read]: was a completely forced and unreal character, because she didn't really exist at all.

The film Adam is making is "The Sylvia North Story". It all falls into place...
I really, really liked this film, but then I'm a big Lynch fan. My only problem with it is I think it would have been better as a TV series (as intended).

its not meant to be understood guys, there is no definite answer to teh ending, your supposed to come up with your own theory on what you think happened, this was the point of the movie, and also, it was actually a good movie, yes confusing, but i think you'll all agree when i say it certainly wasnt boring.
