It was an older story from later in pre-crisis period, DC Comics Presents Supes and Firestorm (#17). Pretty funny though. Firestorm saves him later in the story of course, by thawing him out.

Absolute Zero would require no type of radiation affecting the target, deep space is only 3 degrees over absolute zero because of the natural radiation that covers the entire universe. Superman flies around in that just fine.

which is entirely irrelvant to the speculation of how much absolute zero would harm superman.

Doesn't matter. To insinuate that just because someone can survive in space equates to them being able to survive absolute zero is a fallacy.

Not to mention, anytime someone has subjected Superman to cold temperature it has been targeted to his surface (cold to skin). I'd even venture to say that is why he can "shake off" the effects. Unlike them, Iceman can attack the molecules themselves, of his entire body, not just the surface area.

What is a full potential Ice-man, does such character even exist. So instead of saying full potential, just say Ice-Man at his strongest incarnation, be it canon, or not.

So if were going by full potential logic, i can also say Ice-Man has no chance to beat a full potential Superman, even though there's no such thing.

Your opinion. The character in question does not exist, and as such can only be imagined. Whether that S shield is in place or not, from the few times we have glimpsed that potential, he seems, objectively, to have the capacity to do so. Unlike most other forms of attack, having every single part of your body - down to the most minuscule aspect - stop, without anyway of re-starting as their is no energy, at all, to do so - is a blow not even he can come back from.

S shield? You just couldn't play fair, could you? For shame...

Has Iceman ever frozen someones Cells, living solar batteries and more durable then anything else on earth. Of a person who can vibrate fast enough to move through punches? Counter-vibrations anyone? And most important of all, if he ever did so, against Gladiator for example, how much time does he needs to do so?

What it does suggest however, is that Superman can survive 3 degrees over absolute zero, and that absolute zero is a condition that he'll never endure on Earth, or in the universe, as absolute zero would require the absence of the universes natural radiation and other conditions.

Superman resisting having his cells shut down- robbed of their energy.

I've already went through all of this in the thread pages and pages ago.

His cells were never shut down in that scan.

I probably pointed that out pages and pages ago.

So unless Supes can act before Iceman does it, he's out of luck.
