I'd like to see her evolve into feisty strong Rogue that's the one Gambit's always gone for. So maybe this could happen:

Gambit takes a hit for Mystique, the Brotherhood desert the wounded. Gambit's debt to the Brotherhood for his freedom is repaid. Rogue defends him from Sentinels even though she has no superpowers... thus a strong courageous (but yes sorta stupid) Rogue is seen... it's at that point that the superstrength she permanently absorbed from Juggs kicks in.

It's not a very well thougth out idea... I need sleep but can't sleep lol.

I'm not a big fan of flight without some sort of explanation of it eg magnetic levitation, windriding, telekinesis.

I remember an old animated X-Men:
Angel: How do you fly?
Rogue: I dunno I just do.

Yeh I didn't have Colossus in my original premise, I just added him in the new summary I made for the hell of it.

But, if that happened, Beast would be an insecure person through out the whole film.

I'm seeing one scene after somebody dies with Beast and Storm, and Beast goes "It's my fault, it's all my fault" or "Are you angry with me?".

And then BAMF, Nightcrawler goes "What did I tell you about being so pretty, yet, angry? Dayam, woman!"

Possibly.

That wasn't realy the case with Nightcrawler in X2 though or even Wolverine for that matter.I see where your coming from though.Beast wouldn't be as bouncy if he was used like that.

Yeah He cant be all blue (forgive the pun), insecurity is not hank, well not on that scale at all. He needs to be confident and joyous, but with serious side.
Also this is nitpicking but creating sentinels would make him more like a techno-doc not a med/genetic-doc which I think is a big part of Beast... Although maybe developing the way mutants are being identified ? confused
