Her Smile
What if you could see behind her smile,
Would you want to see the truth?
Do you want to see her pain?
Behind the fake smiles are tears,
Tears she's been holding back all of her life.
She can't let go of them.
The tears are a part of her,
but they don't define who she is.
Behind her smile she keeps the truth,
the truth you can't see.
If you look a little closer,
you might see the tears in her eyes,
the fake in her smile,
the cuts on her wrists,
the pain in her heart,
If you just glance at her,
all you see is a smile.

Liars
Backstabbers, liars, betrayers,
I am surrounded by them.
You think you can trust them,
You think you can tell them your secrets,
but all they do is stab you in the back.
They betray you,
They make up lies about you.
And now they want to know why.
Why are you acting this way?
Why dont you believe me?
Why are you such a horrible friend?
Wasn't i always there for you?
You were never there,
You betrayed me.
You stabbed me in the back.
You lied to me.
How can i befriend a liar?
That is what you are.

this was for a guy that i was in love with, i know he loved me too, he was just too afraid to admit it.
after i moved on from him he realized that he loved me, but it was too late- i actually wrote this before he came to this realization
